What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup, also known as intradermal pigmentation is a revolutionary method of applying natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin.  The technique is medically proven and specifically designed to be safe.  Permanent makeup is used for a variety of cosmetic enhancements which will save you time with your morning routine and can be life changing for some with medical conditions affecting their appearance. Permanent makeup is very different from traditional body art in the method of application and products used.  Permant makeup is still considered a tattoo but because of the products used, which are safe for the face, but will fade due to environmental factors.  Daily routine, sun, body chemistry and type of application will determine the length of time before needing a color boost.  Some clients can go years before needing a color boost!!  Microblading is placed higher in the skin layers. Because of this placement it is considered “semI permanent” lasting anywhere from 9-18 months. During your appointment the artist will go over in detail all of the aftercare instructions, what to expect during the healing process.

Permanent makeup is a process that you must be patient with.    We  are  working  in  live  tissue  and  everyone  is  a  different  “canvas”  depending on skin type, body chemistry , daily routine  ect.  Touchups can be very important for final  healed results!!

Aftercare healing instructions require no water on the application site for a few days so washing your hair or working out prior to application is recommended
